Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team comprises experienced executives with a strong track record of performance in their respective fields and who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity for client-partners and employees.

The day to day operations are managed by a core team of Executives representing the key areas of our business. In addition to this EXCO team, we have an Advisory Board which meets regularly with the CEO to assist with strategic and industry-focus issues. Our formal Board of Directors meet on a monthly basis and hold quarterly Board meetings.
 

Graham Sammells, CEO

Graham Sammells, CEO

Graham joined IQ Group in May 2005 and was appointed CEO in September 2006. Graham is responsible for all aspects of IQ Group’s operations and is a driving force behind company growth. Prior to IQ Group, Graham owned a successful IT delivery company, and has a background in business and IT delivery in financial services.

Graham holds an Economics Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He Chairs the ASFA e-Commerce Committee and  Chairs the School of Information Systems Advisory Board at Deakin University.

Graham is a member of the Contributions Implementation Working Group which was established by the ATO to provide an industry stakeholder forum to support the introduction of the SuperStream Standard. He was also a member of the SuperStream Advisory Council which was established by the Australian Government Treasury to provide external scrutiny upon the implementation of SuperStream in line the Government's Stronger Super initiative. The key responsibilities of the Council were to lead the adoption of the SuperStream reforms, set measures of success and reporting to Government.

Jacques du Preez

Jacques du Preez, Head of Shared Services and Company Secretary

Jacques joined the global business in 2001 and has been an integral member of the Executive Team since 2007. Jacques is responsibile for a broad range of operational and support functions, including Finance, IT, Resource Management and Knowledge Management.

Jacques has extensive experience in multiple disciplines, encompassing Business Analysis, Business Process Re-engineering and Operations Management, much of it gained during his career as an IQ Group consultant working in the Banking and Financial Services sectors.

Jacques holds a Bachelor of Economics degree, Honours in Business Management and a Masters of Commerce in Business Management.

Ron Mullins

Ron Mullins, General Manager Consulting - Northern Region

Ron joined IQ Group in 2012 and was appointed Principal Consultant to lead the establishment of the Queensland office. Ron has been responsible for the operations and growth in Queensland. In 2014, Ron relocated to NSW and was appointed General Manager of NSW and Queensland. Ron is responsible for business operations across the two states, and delivery of consulting services, project services and managed services.

Ron is a wealth management professional who specialises in program and project management. Ron has led operational, information technology, client relationship and administration teams in Australia, Asia, and the United States. Ron is a member of the Australian Superannuation Financial Association’s policy committees and previously the Australian Taxation Office's working party. Ron holds qualifications in superannuation, management and project management.

Jenny AbrahamJennifer Abraham, Consulting and Project Service Practice Lead

Jennifer joined IQ Global Business in 1999 and held the position of Group Financial Manager until 2003 when she made the move to consulting. Her expertise is in financial services in the Australian and South African markets. Jennifer specialises in Project Management, Program Management, PMOs and Project Remediation. Jennifer has a successful track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects ensuring the management of scope, time, costs, resources and quality are balanced against stakeholder expectations, risks and benefits. Jennifer assists with client account management and the allocation of IQ Group's consulting resources. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Master of Business Administration.

Martha Villamil

Martha Villamil, Human Resources Manager

Martha joined IQ Group in April 2014 and has extensive senior experience in human resources management. Martha began her career in the electricity industry in Queensland before moving to Victoria where she joined the executive committee of a leading wine business. Martha is responsible for providing leadership in workforce planning, attraction and retention, organisational design and development, employee engagement, talent management, remuneration and rewards, and employee relations. Martha holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources Management.
